Spring Itch
While photographing the Backscratcher and Tripod pieces together one day, the artist was inspired by the charming scene they presented as a group.
Every spring, Thoroughbred foals are turned out to pasture where they can interact with each other and learn crucial social skills, as their watchful dams graze nearby.
This combination of the popular small works into a single piece was humorously named “Spring Itch” by the artist’s wife.
